The Humanist Movement works for personal development as a function of social transformation.
It fights for the humanisation of the world as an internationalist, anti-discriminatory, supportive and non-violent force in its methodology of action.
The doctrinal aspects of its activities and projects are based on the vision of Universalist Humanism; and it makes this vision the basis for its development and for the personal formation of its members.
This manual includes a series of Study Themes and Recommended Practices for all members of the Movement who feel the need to advance in personal growth and strengthening simultaneously with the development of their projects of social transformation.
It is organised in two main sections: 20 study themes and 16 seminars and retreats for personal work. The themes developed in both sections summarise the most relevant theoretical and practical aspects of the Humanist Doctrine.
These study themes, retreats and personal work seminars are designed to take place in the Work Centres of the Parks of Study and Reflection, as these places, with their open spaces and the Hall, are inspiring for internal experience and enriching exchange.
When one of our Parks is not available nearby, any place temporarily rented for this work is considered a Work Centre. Finally, in each of the works, bibliographical references are listed, to which each person can refer in order to broaden and deepen the topics dealt with.
