2026 CENSUS UPDATE AND INTERNAL VOTING CALENDAR
1. Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 31:
Website registration and collection of annual Full Member (FM) contributions.
2. Sunday, May 31: DEADLINE
to register new full members on the website: https://www.internationalhumanistparty.org/.
2.1 From Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, June 3:
The IEC (International Electoral Committee) distributes the lists of all registered associate members to National Coordination Teams and Promoting Teams so they can verify if all new full members on their "Addition" lists are registered on the website before sending their lists to the IEC.
3. Full Member Census Order
3.1 Until Sunday, June 14:
National Coordination Teams or Promoting Teams prepare the lists and send them to the IEC. These submissions may involve different scenarios regarding additions and removals; the procedure for each case is detailed below:
- Case A: If there are changes since the last census:
- A list of full members to be removed (Withdrawals ) is prepared. The list must include the USERNAME (as it appears on the IHP website) for each case.
- A list of all new full members to be added (Additions
) is prepared. The list must include the USERNAME (as it appears on the IHP website) for each case. - A complete, updated list of all full members is prepared, reflecting all additions and removals.
National Coordination Teams and Promoting Teams are requested to review the following BEFORE
sending their lists to the IEC:
- Ensure that new full members on the "Addition" list are currently registered on the website (cross-check with the associate member list provided by the IEC for this purpose).
- Ensure the USERNAME
(as it appears on the IHP website) is included for every individual. - Ensure that email addresses are correct and currently in use by the respective member.
- Case B: If there are no changes since the last census:
In this case, the National Coordination Teams or Promoting Teams must send a confirmation to the IEC stating that there have been no modifications relative to the last census (2025 Census).
3.2 Until Sunday, June 21:
The IEC updates the registry and sends the new lists to the National Coordination Teams and Promoting Teams. These teams will verify that the update is correct. Any discrepancies must be reported to the IEC.
3.3 On Monday, June 29:
The Federation will have a new official register of full members.
4. From June 29 to July 12:
Candidates for the IEC or the various National Coordination Teams must register their nominations on the IHP website: www.partidohumanistainternacional.org.
5. July 24, 25, and 26:
Voting to elect the new IEC and National Coordination Teams will take place via the website: www.partidohumanistainternacional.org.
6. Due to technical specifications of the website:
Election results will be available at 00:00 hours on Monday, July 27.
7. During that week, until August 2:
The General Secretary of each National Coordination Team and the IEC will convene a joint meeting of the outgoing and incoming teams to conduct the handover of functions.
