Dear friends, in this year that we are leaving behind, the crisis of capitalism and its cruelty has worsened, ravaging billions of human beings, imposing a belief system that justifies wars and the extermination of peoples, plunging them into poverty and abandonment. And persisting in their aspiration for a homogenous world, we have seen a strong and uncontrolled advance of the ultra-right, trying to install new masters and bosses who present themselves as the only option to get out of the prevailing distressing situation, which they themselves have generated.
That is why we humanists have been saying for decades that it is necessary to overcome the capitalist system, which is not perfectible, by a non-violent humanist revolution that contributes to generate the foundations of a Universal Human Nation.
The International Coordination Team of the IHP thanks you and appreciates your noble and permanent action in this path that we have set for ourselves. And because we are optimists, we believe in freedom and social progress, we wish for a world of multiple ethnicities, languages and customs, multiple localities, regions and autonomies, multiple ideas and aspirations, multiple beliefs, atheism and religiosity, multiple work, multiple creativity. And nothing will stop us until this becomes a reality for all human beings living on this planet.
