REVOLUTION
(from lat. Revolution: action or effect of stirring or revolting). Itis a sudden and profound change that implies the rupture of a previous model and the emergence of a new one.
According to Silo in the Seventh Letter to My Friends – which were commend to study exhaustively:
¨Wes peak of a social revolution that drastically changes the living conditions of the people, of a political revolution that modifies the structure of power and, in short, of a human revolution that create sits own paradigms to replace the current decadent values. The social revolution that Humanist maims at passes through the seizure of political power in order to carry out the necessary transformations, but the seizure of that power is not an objective in itself.
The revolutions that are agonizing today or the new ones that are in the making will not go beyond the testimonial within a stagnant order, they will not go beyond organized tumult, if they do not advance in the direction proposed by Humanism, that is to say: in the direction of a system of social relations whose central value is the human being and not any other such as "production", "socialist society", etc.
To move from the realm of necessity to the realm of freedom by means of revolution is the imperative of this epoch in which the human being has become closed. Future revolutions, if they are to go beyond barracks coups, palace coups, class, ethnic or religious demands, will have to assume an inclusive transforming character on the basis of human essentiality. Hence, beyond the changes they bring about in the concrete situations of countries, their character will be universalist and their objective globalizing. Therefore, when we speak of "world revolution" we understand that any humanist revolution, or revolution that becomes humanist, even if it is carried out in a restricted situation, will carry the character and the objective that will take it beyond itself. And that revolution, no matter how in significant the place in which it takes place, will compromise the essentiality of every human being. The world revolution cannot be approached in terms of success but in its real humanizing dimension. Moreover, the new type of revolutionary that corresponds to this new type of revolution becomes, by essence and by activity, a human is e r of the world.
Political action requires, for the time being, the creation of a party that can achieve electoral representation at various levels. But it must be clear from the outset that this representative ness is aimed at directing the conflict o wards the heart of the established power. In this context, a party member who achieves popular representation is not a civil servant but a point of reference that highlights the contradictions of the system and organizes the struggle in the direction of revolution.
To generate this humanist world revolution, it is necessary to GROW and to grow it is necessary to DISSEMINATE our proposals, but for this dissemination to be effective there is an intangible that cannot be ignored: I have to BELIEVE IN THEM, I have to feel that they give meaning to my life and to the humanity of which I am a part and at the same time the whole.
The ideology of the IHP is base don’t he doctrine of Universalist Humanism and when we say that the Humanist Party is more than a political party we are talking about a way of life, about a sensibility that leaves behind personal interests for the common good. Itis human groups that will change history in an upward spiral and there is no other way out of the prehistory of humanity.
This bright future, which rejects all exclusion and discrimination, is not magic, it is built day by day in small, big actions, starting with those around us: our immediate environment.
For too long, a perverse system has been triggering us with the "no se puede" and trying to install leaders who tell us what we should believe in, how we should think, feel and act, as if they were the only possessors of that great inner truth that guides the life of each one of us.
Fortunately, the stage of disillusionment to which we have been led is coming to an end and we humanist shave the tools to build that new paradigm to which hall of humanity aspires. We only need to WANT TO DO IT because we think and feel that it is the best for us, for our loved ones, for the new generations to come, thatis, for all human beings without any exclusion whatsoever.
The time has come to say what we believe opens up the future we have all dreamed of so many times.
That is why today, we invite you to declare our unshaken able faith that a more humane world is possible and to commit ourselves to work for it from IHP.

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
There are four upcoming calendar topics that we are going to comment on:
We are going to mention the activities that we have on the calendar and to leave more present, we will mention the closest ones starting with the most distant in time.
That is why we started by telling you that on Sunday, June 5, World Environment Day, we will broadcast on our networks.
We will address this issue of such global relevance for decades that has been growing dangerously, that we call a social ecological disaster and that others call climate change.
It will circulate via national links, the details for those who want to join in participating in the organization of this activity and they will receive the channels so that they can divulge the transmission before, during and after.
The second activity to mention is The Campaign for nuclear disarmament NOW!
The campaign begins on that very special date for us, which is May 4.
The campaign addresses a theme that has been installed since the war between NATO and Russia in Ukraine, a country invaded by Russia.
Since the beginning of the current conflict, we have expressed our repudiation of war, of all the wars that exist at this time worldwide as a prehistoric method of conflict resolution.
We are going to denounce the hypocrisy of the states that, speaking of PEACE, have nuclear weapons, trade with weapons for financial gain and do not sign the TPNW (Nuclear Weapons Prohibition Treaty).
We know that the framework of responsibility for wars is complex; but without fear of being wrong, we can affirm that at least two large corporations promote the same: the military industrial complex and the private international financial system, which subordinate the decisions of governments, reduced to mere administration of the interests of corporations.
We are going to disseminate the proposals that we developed in the campaign led by Silo in 2006, which later became the core of the content that promoted the World March for Peace and Nonviolence in 2009-2010. These proposals are fully valid and point to a clear way out of the monstrosity of the arms race that is putting the future existence of humanity at risk.
We reiterate the invitation to the countries and grassroots groups to promote the campaign where the possibilities are virtual or face-to-face activities.
It is a campaign where each and every one has to feel it and take it as their own and take it to the world as close and far as possible.
Via links and on our official networks (to which we invite those who have not yet followed) we will share the details of the general activities and the activities carried out from the countries.
On May 4th we will carry out the first dissemination activity with the publication of a video that we invite you to share, on the websites of the countries and in all personal dissemination channels.
The third activity that we will mention is a punctual activity very close in time and is the one referring to the workers' day. Next May 1st we will broadcast from the Federation's Facebook network.
Humanists from Argentina, Chile and a member of the ECI will address a topic as relevant as the capital-labor relationship, we will focus on the state of the situation, the perspectives and proposals on such a central topic of human activity.
During the transmission we will share greetings and messages that come from members of the PH from different parts of the world, some have commented that they will do so from celebrations in which they participate and/or perform that day.
The details to follow the broadcast that day and to invite others to it. They will arrive via links. There will also be invitations on our networks to be shared.
The fourth and last of the topics is, in organic terms, the most relevant and also starts in a week. On May 1st we will begin the process of preparing the annual census, collecting contributions from the collection and holding elections at the three levels of our organization.
The deadlines to register on the web for the 2022 census have been open since August of last year and end on Sunday, June 5, the same day that the deadline for each member to make their collection contribution and confirm their location as full member.
During the rest of the month of June, the planned shipments will be produced between the liaisons of each country and the ECI to update the list of Full Members, which will be definitively established on Monday, July 4.
The period to carry out the elections begins on Monday, July 4, the day that the self-application process begins to form the new International and National Coordination Teams, this stage will culminate on July 24.
Finally, the elections will take place on Friday 29, Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July 2022. The Election begins at 00:00 (PdV) on the 29th and ends on the 31st at 24:00 (PdV).
