Quand les humanistes observent et prennent part aux processus sociaux, politiques et économiques partout dans le monde, ils ne peuvent s'empêcher d’évoquer l’actualité qu'a, dans ce moment historique, le Document du Mouvement Humaniste écrit par Silo en 1993[^1] . Par sa lecture on peut comprendre jusqu'à quel point la direction de l'histoire a confirmé les tendances expliquées dans ce document. Et jusqu'à quel point aujourd'hui – plus que jamais – l'union de tous les humanistes du monde devient une nécessité, pour que les aspirations humaines les plus profondes puissent devenir une réalité. En tant que parti politique inspiré par le courant de l'Humanisme Universaliste, il nous semble nécessaire, dans ce moment de l’histoire, d'analyser la situation présente, pour ainsi arriver à des propositions d'action dans le contexte mondial actuel.
